Real Techniques Miracle complexion sponge. Amazing!

I purchased the Real Techniques sponge a few days ago, which a lot of Youtuber’s claim to be a dupe of the Beauty Blender, which costs around £20 or so. I have not been able to use it because I have been at work, and have been tired and various other things.

So today I tried it, so I put the sponge under water, rinsed it out, and it doubled in size. Applied my foundation and concealer and powder. I am amazed, literally amazed, it blends your foundation amazingly, and makes your skin so soft, and it doesn’t even feel like you are wearing makeup because of the way it just blends the foundation and anything else. I feel like I have not got any makeup on at all, and I do!

This product is so good for the price, and is great for applying makeup, and makes your skin soft, plus the sponge is damp so it is also good, because the water mixes in and blends perfectly. It blends powders, and liquid foundations perfectly.

I cannot get over how amazing my makeup blends with this sponge it is simply amazing, I would definitely recommend this to anyone, who uses the beauty blender and wants something a little more cheaper. Absolutely amazing product, 2 thumbs up!

I have nothing bad to say about this product, I got mine from Superdrug, you can also purchase it from Boots, and also online.

Things that I love right now!

So I got a few things this week, that I actually love right now, like LOVE!

Eylure brow stencils – £4.95 from Superdrug

eylure london new brow stencils shaping pre shaped arches 2014 eyebrows stencil

So as you can see there are 4 eyebrow styles that you can choose from, that suit your face shape. I find these to be amazing when I am trying to tweeze my eyebrows, without over plucking one or both eyebrows. They are plastic, so they are reusable again and again, which is good. This product has helped me shape my eyebrows better than when I didn’t have a guide as to what shape I needed to follow, as I over pluck one time and was fed up as I had to fill in my brows quite a bit and hated it!! They are easy to use and it is pretty straight forward.

Maybelline Baby Skin instant pore eraser primer – £7.99 from Boots.

This is like a clear gel, that blurs away your pores and makes applying your foundation a lot nicer, and helps your foundation and makeup last quite a long time throughout the day, which is great. A lot of people claim that it is like the Benefit porefessional primer, which it is a little. It was really inexpensive and you can pick it up from Superdrug and Boots and any drug store. The packaging is also quite cute and its just aww. Works well, 2 thumbs up!!

Maybelline instant fatigue blur – £7.99 from Boots

This comes in 2 shades, rose and apricot, I got the apricot one because of course I am sort of tanned so that’s the one I went with. This is great for minimizing lines or redness, again inexpensive and cut packaging and just a really handy thing to have. It is different to the pore blur primer, totally different products, but both great!

Born Lippy strawberry lip balm – £3.00 from The Body Shop

As it is winter and cold and all the rest, lip balms are what you need, unless you want incredibly dry chapped lips, then go ahead do not purchase any lip balm’s, because if that is the look you are going for of dry chapped cracked lips, then ignore this product. This is strawberry lip balm, it is just a stick version to the one in a little round plastic tub, but i prefer the stick one because I find it better to apply. Smells delicious, and according to my boyfriend, tastes like fruit 🙂 so all in all a good product. Cut packaging again, as I am a sucker for cute stuff, and stuff looking all cute, so yeah.

Real techniques miracle complexion sponge – £5.99 from Boots

Apparently this a dupe of the Beauty Blender, which I have not tried yet so I cannot make a comment on it. I have watched youtube videos of the two and seen that they both pretty much make your makeup look the same, and they are similar, with only a few differences. I have used this and it makes my makeup blend well, and is quite a good shape and size, and covers the face easily. It does remind me of a half cracked egg, as the shape and the color looks like one, but it does the job so its fine, I was laughing for a couple of minutes at the shape, I do not know why I just was. It is obviously cheaper than the beauty blender, although I am looking to buy one, just to compare the two, and see which one is actually better or if they are both the same.

So that is all the things I love at the minute 🙂
